Yasmine Tanwidjaja-Pajares better known by her stage name Yasmine Tanres, is a British born Spanish and Indonesian/ Chinese TV host, actress, commercial model and multi-media skilled reporter with foreign language capabilities in German, Spanish and French.

She started her TV career as part of the UK’s first youth-led news-style TV show, London360, owned by Media Trust and supported by the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Time Warner. There she presented, produced, self-shot, directed and edited some of the most compelling events of diverse communities in London that deserved more media coverage, such as the social media awareness campaign of “match4Lara” to highlight the lack of diversity on the patient donor register, and the migrant and refugee crisis in London today.

Yasmine has also interviewed an array of notable celebrities such as award-winning actor Clive Owen, international music artists Emeli Sandé and music producer Naughty Boy. She further challenged the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, about what he would do to protect women in the creative industry.

Prior to London360 she had completed her studies at King’s College London in German (BA) with modules in French and Russian, and received Gold for the King’s Leadership & Professional Skills Award Scheme. Then in Los Angeles she undertook an Entertainment Studies program at UCLA Extension, which included courses in Pre- and Production for Film & TV, the Business of Entertainment, Making A Short Documentary on Digital Platforms. Whilst studying she also felt the need to know about communities living in poverty and travelled to Africa as an Orphanage Assistant and to India to support the local Tibetan refugee community. In both places she captured content to create awareness of some of the cultural norms that are not highlighted in mainstream media. Consequently, what has fuelled her passion in story-telling and news reporting is the culturally-rich environment she has grown up in from an early age in various parts of the world and her working in communities in desperate poverty.

Today she is based in Los Angeles and hosts a variety of entertainment shows on AfterBuzz TV – the ESPN talk for after shows, Fab TV and for Make Muse, a female empowerment platform that creates content for positive societal change. She is also an International Leader of the King’s College London Alumni Community and a Board Member of Philanthropy for KCL Alumni in Los Angeles.

She continuously strives to act, host and report on TV, digital media and live events, as well as committing her time to charitable causes. When she is not on-air or hosting summits and fundraisers, she teaches privately yoga and at Hot 8 Yoga Studios across LA.
